When I first heard this song late last week, I was absolutely floored. So much so, that I had to consult with other audiophiles to make sure that it was as good as I thought it was. They agreed that the song (and it's music video) is simply amazing; a marriage of different sounds so flawless that it has literally taken a few days for me to allow it's grandeur to sink in. I've listened to it over and over, and each time I appreciate it even more. I can say with certainty that this is the best song I have heard all year. Why I hadn't heard this song since it's release in 2005, I can't explain. Everyone should hear this asap, and this is why it comes to you now, early as this week's SotW. Here's Nightwish's Nemo. Well it's catchy, yeah.. but really..
Because it amazes me how someone can take 'to' and 'apologize' and condense them into one fucking word... when it's highly unnecessary.

It's not like 'to apologize' wouldn't fit just as well... it would. But they felt it was absolutely important that 'apologize' become 'pologize'...

Jago, I've been listening to Nightwish for years, actually. Sadly the vocalist on "Nemo" was replaced by the band last year, but their new lead is very good too. I actually just saw them on October 26th... good stuff. If you like Nemo, you should definitely pick up Once, and grab Dark Passion Play (the new one) too, you'd probably dig it.
I heard their new singer... not sure what I think of her yet. She seems way too mainstream for a metal band to my ears, but maybe I just need to listen to her a bit more.
I'll hit up your recommendations. If they are anything like Nemo, they'll be brilliant.
